Does It Fit?
One of the best things I think we can constantly ask ourselves is, “Does It Fit?” Do our goals and career goals fit the talents we have been given by God. Do the things we do personally and when no one is around fit the way we were raised by our parents? Does our worship fit us, and the God that created us. Our culture constantly tries to tell us what we should allow into our lives, but I encourage you to question whether or not that truly reflects who you are and who you want to become. Constantly ask yourself, “does it fit?” It is better to wear clothing that does fit than clothing that doesn’t fit. Clothing that doesn’t fit is either to tight or is to loose and keeps us from walking normally. The same is true in our lives and who we are as people and all the aspects of our lives. In I Timothy 4:7 we are commanded the following, “But reject those myths fit only for the godless and gullible, and train yourself for godliness.” Things that don’t fit make life hard and construct us from moving forward.
